Ten Years Ten Memories is a special initiative organized by Muse College to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the establishment of the university. It aims to promote communication and collaboration between Muse College and the various colleges of CUHK. Through joint efforts in both Shenzhen and Hong Kong, at least ten interactive activities will be held, covering five main categories: Urban Exploration, Arts and Sports, Public Service, History and Culture, and Embracing Nature. These activities seek to promote the understanding of the Greater Bay Area, and deepen the awareness of the trend of “Shenzhen-Hong Kong twin cities, win-win in the Greater Bay Area” among students and faculty members from both campuses.

Shenzhen and Hong Kong are separated by only a narrow strip of water. After five thousand years of sea breeze blowing, we now travel through time to explore the cultural roots of Shenzhen and Hong Kong together. Searching for the shared origins hidden in the long river of history. As a tribute to the 10th anniversary of CUHK(SZ), Muse College is collaborating with various colleges of CUHK to present the “Ten Years Ten Memories” series of activities. On 6 April, Muse College will kick off the second event in collaboration with the faculty members from Department of Geography and Resource Management, CUHK. We will spend a day exploring the historical origins of Shenzhen and Hong Kong, leading everyone to discover the unique history and culture of both places with footsteps and cameras.

Spring is the best season to travel! The Staff Club and its Cultural and Social Activities Task Group will organize The Chinese University of Hong Kong (Shenzhen) x Shenzhen City Walk for you to explore CUHKSZ Ling and Muse College, and the famous tourist sports of Shenzhen! Seats are limited and will be offered on a first-come, first-serve basis.

On the occasion of our university’s 10th anniversary, we are honored to invite the Shaw College alumni from CUHK to join us in celebrating and exploring progress together. This gathering will provide us with a deeper understanding of the latest advancements at CUHK Shaw College as well as its alumni association. Furthermore, we will gain valuable insights into the current state of Hong Kong’s employment market through thematic presentations by our distinguished alumni, broadening our perspectives on the latest developments in the Greater Bay Area.

Following the sharing session, we will inaugurate the first session of the Shaw College Mini-Concerts for the new year. Let’s soak in the warm winter sunlight and sing along with fellow Shaw College alumni, CUHK, creating cherished memories during this delightful weekend.
