In recent months, scam phone calls, text messages, and online impersonation attempts have become increasingly common in Hong Kong. These scams often involve individuals posing as law-enforcement officers, government departments, banks, or universities, and can be difficult to identify without prior awareness.
To help students better understand common fraud tactics, warning signs, and practical steps for self-protection, we have invited a representative from the Hong Kong Police Force to share real cases and preventive advice.
