To celebrate the 70th Anniversary of United College, the College organised a basketball and tennis friendly match on 29 May, 2026. Our sister college, Diligentia College, travelled all the way from Shenzhen to compete with our staff and students in exciting and closely contested basketball and tennis matches.
We were delighted to have the presence and support of our guests, including Professor Lee Hung-kay, Associate Head and Dean of General Education of United College; Ms. Chu Kit-yu Dorothy, College Secretary of United College; Mr. Wong On-tung, Convener of the United College 70th Anniversary Health and Sports Working Group; Ms. Huang Qin, Supervisor of Activity Expansion of Diligentia College and Ms. Huang Y. Y. Jasmine, Senior Executive Officer of Activity Expansion of Diligentia College.
This friendly match marked the second sports exchange activity between the two colleges since October, 2023. During the matches, both sides exchanged skills and learned from one another in a spirit of sportsmanship. After the competitions, participants gathered at Si Yuan Amenities Centre for a tea reception, where they interacted and strengthened their friendship.
