With the Lunar New Year approaching, the CUHK Campuses Collaboration Office (CCCO) organised a special “New Year Movie Night” event on 6 February, 2026, for CDMP students. The gathering brought everyone together to enjoy their collectively voted classic Hong Kong Lunar New Year comedy—“Fat Choi Spirit”（《嚦咕嚦咕新年財》）.
During the screening, the activity room was filled with bursts of laughter and cheerful chatter. Students were completely immersed in the film’s charm, roaring with laughter at hilarious moments while savouring the thoughtful and witty dialogues that still resonate today.
The event also featured four exclusive Year of the Horse Fai Chun designs specially created by the CCCO. Students were free to choose their favourite style and create their own personalised New Year messages on the spot. Everyone let their creativity shine, producing a wide variety of fun, heartfelt, and humorous festive greetings.
In addition, the CCCO prepared festive New Year gifts, including adorable Year of the Horse-themed decorations, allowing students to take the joyful spirit of the season home with them. The atmosphere was warm, harmonious, and full of energy—everyone had a wonderful time sharing laughter and blessings.
This event not only let the 2+2 CDMP students experience the festive cheer ahead of the Lunar New Year but also strengthened bonds among classmates through shared joy and creativity. Wishing everyone a prosperous and happy Year of the Horse!
