Professor Tsang Suk-ying, Associate Dean of Students, and 7 UC student representatives joined the High Table Dinner of  Diligentia College, CUHK(SZ), on 14 November, 2024. The students also represented the College to join the Second C5 Youth Summit, organised by Diligentia College, where they shared their experiences with other students from Tsinghua University, Xiamen University, Chongqing University, Zhejiang University, The University of Macau and The London School of Economics and Political Science, as well as visited different enterprises in Shenzhen.

14 student representatives who joined the Summit visited United College on 16 November, 2024. This visit was one of the key activities of the C5 Youth Summit, which aimed to deepen communication and exchange among students. The visiting group was warmly welcomed by Dr. Tony Chan, College Secretary.

Student representatives enjoyed lunch at the College student canteen to experience Hong Kong’s dining culture. Afterwards, student Bao Jingke and Zeng Yuetong, the College’s Young Fellow-to-be, led the visiting group on a tour of their respective hostels. In addition, the students also visited Wu Chung Library and Tien Chi Microcomputer Laboratory to gain further insight into student life at United College.

This visit gave visitors a comprehensive insight into the life, facilities, and environment of United College. The visitors also expressed significant interest in the daily lives and the non-formal education at United College. Dormitory cultures and lifestyles of respective universities were shared among student representatives.
