Professor Tuan said at the meeting that the two campuses signed an agreement in 2021 to leverage their respective strengths to work towards building a world-class university. The Retreat provided opportunities for senior management members to get to know the collaborative initiatives launched by the Joint Task Force of the two campuses and to discuss the implementation and promotion of the projects. Members conducted in-depth sharing and exchanges in Academic Development, Strategic Collaborations, Educational Affairs, and International Outreach. President Xu Yang-Sheng of CUHK(SZ) concluded that the Retreat was very successful for face-to-face high-level exchange in providing strategic direction. The two campuses shall work together on the development of stronger integration and coordination toward the goal of a world-class university brand.
