On 27 September, 2024, New Asia College, CUHK hosted a momentous Signing Ceremony to formalise a Sister College relationship with Harmonia College, CUHK(SZ). This significant event took place during the grand 75th Founders’ Day Tea Reception, marking a historic milestone for the two Colleges. Under the witness of teachers, students and alumni from both Colleges, a “Memorandum of Understanding” was signed, officially marking a new beginning of collaboration and exchange between the two Colleges.

The celebration extended beyond the formal ceremony, as members of Harmonia College immersed themselves fully in the day’s festivities. Not only did they participate in the elegant Tea Reception, but they also joined the evening’s grand Banquet for Thousand People. This spectacular event featured a sumptuous Poon Choi feast, a traditional Cantonese dish symbolizing unity and prosperity. The attendees were further treated to a diverse array of captivating performances showcasing the talents of students, further cementing the bonds of friendship and cultural exchange between the two Colleges.
