On 30 November, 2024, a friendly Tennis and Badminton Match was held, serving as a unifying event between Wu Yee Sun College, CUHK and Muse College, CUHK(SZ). The event not only showcased athletic prowess but also symbolised a deepening of bonds between the two Colleges.

Teachers from Muse College guided their College Tennis and Badminton Teams to Hong Kong with the aim to promote the spirit of teamwork and sportsmanship with the Wu Yee Sun College teams.

The commencement of the event was marked by welcoming remarks delivered by Wu Yee Sun College Master Professor Anthony T.C. Chan and Master of Muse College Professor Chen Yongqin, who emphasised the significant values of sportsmanship and the enduring bond between the two sister Colleges. The two Masters then participated in the first Tennis match. The presence of Wu Yee Sun College Associate Masters, Professor Wong Kam-fai, Professor Poon Ming-kay, and Professor Joan Z. Zuo, along with Associate Dean of Students Ms. Sharon S.Y. Wong and Physical Education Lecturer Mr. Hui Ka-kit, further fuelled the enthusiasm and support for the competing College teams, which further added to the atmosphere of friendly competition.

Following the matches, a luncheon was held at the Wu Yee Sun College Staff Canteen, which served as a conclusion to the day’s event. At the luncheon, everyone gathered at the roundtables and expressed their mutual appreciation with one another, as well as shared reflections on the day’s sporting achievements. Wu Yee Sun College further extended their gratitude and excitement for the prospect of further collaborations with Muse College. Moreover, they emphasised their eagerness to embark on new shared endeavours that would further strengthen the bonds of friendship and cooperation that had been forged between the two Colleges.
