Through friendly matches in football, basketball, and table tennis, participants not only honed their skills but also strengthened their friendships.

At the opening ceremony, Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Strategic Developments) Professor Chan Wai-yee and Vice-President Mr. K.C. Yuen exchanged souvenirs, symbolizing the close bond between the two campuses. The football match kicked the event off, with the CUHK team winning thanks to a standout performance. The basketball game that followed reflected smooth teamwork from both sides, but CUHK’s team secured the win with well-coordinated passing. The table tennis competition, introduced for the first time, saw faculty and staff from both universities displaying impressive skills in intense and thrilling matches.

Throughout the games, faculty and staff teams battled fiercely on the football field, showcased perfect coordination on the basketball court, and kept the excitement going with rapid exchanges at the table tennis tables. Spectators cheered the players on and fueled the competitive spirit with their enthusiastic support.

The event, organized by CUHK(SZ)’s Physical Education Department and supported by CUHK(SZ)’s Human Resources Office, offered a valuable opportunity for faculty and staff to learn from each other, building both skills and friendships. It was not merely a sports competition but also a meaningful way to foster exchange and collaboration between the two campuses.
