The CUHK Tour of Hong Kong Cultural Tours Project was successfully held on 10 June, 2025. CUHK student Minnie Suen Hei-ching, who completed her professional training, led 22 students, including 10 from CUHK(SZ) and 12 from CUHK, to explore the industrial history of To Kwa Wan.
The theme of the day was “Transformation is Eternal – The Old Workshop.” Participants started from Hoi Sham Park and visited locations such as I-Feng Mansions, Lung Mo Temple, 13 Streets and the Cattle Depot Artist Village. They immersed themselves in the uniqueness of old Hong Kong, wandering through the neighbourhoods to uncover the rich history and the lives of citizens in the past. Along the way, participants visualised how Hong Kong has transformed from an industrial area into today’s vibrant cityscape.
