On 24 October, 2025, CUHK welcomed a delegation from CUHK(SZ) for a full-day Mutual Campus Day Tour designed to strengthen bonds and deepen academic and cultural exchange between the two campuses. The visit brought together staff members from the CUHK(SZ) campus for an immersive experience showcasing CUHK’s traditions, facilities, and vibrant campus life.
The day began at the iconic University Mall, where the delegation enjoyed group photographs beneath the Gate of Wisdom before proceeding to a welcome session. Participants received an overview of CUHK’s history and development, setting the stage for a series of engaging tours and activities.
Participants visited both the CUHK University Library and the University History Gallery, gaining insight into CUHK’s academic heritage and archival treasures. A brief stop at the souvenir shop allowed visitors to pick up mementos before heading to Lee Woo Sing College for lunch and staff networking, where meaningful conversations fostered deeper collaboration opportunities.
In the afternoon, the group explored Wu Yee Sun College, known for its commitment to creativity and sustainability, followed by a visit to the School of Architecture, where they learned about CUHK’s design philosophy and pedagogical strengths. The programme concluded with warm farewells and a return journey to CUHK(SZ).
The day not only celebrated the partnership between CUHK and CUHK(SZ) but also highlighted a shared vision for continued cooperation across academic programmes, student development, and campus culture.
