In the vibrant days of late March, CUHK students led by the Student Experience and Development Section of the Office of Student Affairs travelled to the campus of CUHK(SZ) to participate in the Student Club Festival from 27 to 28 March, 2026. The event fostered closer ties between the two campuses, creating connections through vibrant cultural exchange.
This year’s festival focused on the creative theme of “Misplacement”, inviting attendees to step outside the ordinary and embrace the unexpected. The programme featured over 30 creative booths, more than 20 immersive activities, and the highly anticipated annual dance showcase titled “Star Voyage: A Journey Across the Seas.” From intangible cultural heritage crafts and interactive tech experiences to martial arts mystery games and street theatre flash mobs, every corner was filled with the energy and imagination of today’s university students.
One of the highlights of the evening was the Cross-Institution Dance Showcase. The CUHK(SZ) Dance Troupe performed with groups from Southern University of Science and Technology, Shenzhen MSU-BIT University, and CUHK. This event showcased a dynamic blend of Latin, ballet, folk, and street dance. Under the starry night sky, dancers from different universities came together for a dazzling display of youth and creativity. May the memories of this encounter between the two campuses bloom like spring flowers, growing ever brighter with time.
