On 15 May, 2026, 50 CUHK staff members visited CUHK(SZ) for the CUHK-CUHK(SZ) Staff Mutual Campus Day Tour, engaging in a fruitful day of in-depth exploration and exchange.
The visit commenced with a group photo at the Terrace Staircase, followed by a welcome briefing at the Administration Building, where CUHK(SZ) representatives outlined the University’s history, key milestones, and close strategic partnerships with CUHK. The delegation then toured the University Library to experience its modern facilities and vibrant academic atmosphere. During lunch at Lixuan Canteen, staff from both campuses exchanged insights on teaching and administration while exploring future collaborative opportunities in a relaxed setting.
The afternoon session focused on academic development and college culture. The group first visited the School of Data Science, where representatives introduced its academic blueprint and guided them through key research facilities and exhibitions. They then toured Minerva College in two parallel groups; student ambassadors provided warm, detailed guided tours of the student dormitories and communal spaces, deepening visitors’ understanding of the campus’s unique collegiate system.
This exchange not only allowed CUHK staff to experience the dynamic and modern environment of CUHK(SZ) firsthand but also built a vital bridge for professional integration, strengthening bilateral ties and laying a solid foundation for deeper institutional collaboration.
