To strengthen inter-campus ties and promote mutual understanding, 50 colleagues from CUHK visited CUHK(SZ) on 30 May, 2025 for a full-day exchange as part of the CUHK-CUHK(SZ) mutual campus tours initiative.
The day began with a warm welcome from Mr. K.C. Yuen, Vice President (Administration) of CUHK(SZ), who introduced the campus and its recent developments.
Participants explored the art exhibition “Rhythmic Vitality and Benevolent Heart-The Art Exhibition of NG Yuet-lau and CHIU Wai-yan Philip” at the Gravity Field Art Gallery, immersing themselves in the artistic and cultural atmosphere of CUHK(SZ).
Over lunch at Lixuan Canteen, CUHK and CUHK(SZ) colleagues engaged in lively discussions and informal dialogue, fostering personal connections and academic exchange. The afternoon continued with a visit to the School of Management and Economics, where Professor Ai Chunrong shared insights into the School’s development and vision. Participants also toured the University Library and enjoyed a brief souvenir stop.
The day concluded with a scenic bus tour to the upper campus, including visits to Harmonia College and Ling College, offering a closer look at student life and the college system at CUHK(SZ). The visit ended on a high note, with participants leaving inspired by the innovation and vibrancy of the Shenzhen campus and a renewed sense of shared purpose across the CUHK family.
