On 23 January, 2026, the Office of Student Affairs (OSA) joined hands with the CUHK Campuses Collaboration Office (CCCO) to organise an informative session for all students of the Collaborative Double Major Programmes (CDMP). The session aimed to enhance students’ well-being by equipping them with essential knowledge to identify and prevent deception cases, which have become increasingly common in recent months.
To provide students with professional and practical insights, a representative from the Hong Kong Police Force was invited to share real-life scam cases, common tactics employed by fraudsters, and effective strategies for self-protection. In addition, a Learning Enhancement Officer from the OSA introduced the learning enhancement services available to CDMP students—supporting their study-related inquiries, adjustment needs, and overall well-being as they navigate university life.
More than 100 participants joined the session. Held in a hybrid format, the event welcomed students from both the Shatin and Shenzhen campuses, with parents also invited to attend. This format ensured broad accessibility and fostered greater interaction and community building across campuses, strengthening the foundation for future collaboration while supporting students in their adjustment and adaptation.
