Building connections: mentorship programme participants visit CUHK(SZ)

On 16 January, 2026, over 40 students from the International Connection Programme (ICP), organised by the Office of Student Affairs, embarked on a rewarding and memorable visit to CUHK(SZ). The group was warmly welcomed by peers at the Shenzhen campus, ushering in a day filled with friendship, cultural exchange, and discovery.

The programme began with an engaging ice-breaking activity that encouraged students from both campuses to interact and build rapport. Following this, CUHK(SZ) student ambassadors led a guided campus tour, showcasing the university’s striking architecture, distinctive colleges’ features, and dynamic student life.

The visit concluded with a stop at the University’s AI institute, where students were introduced to cutting-edge research and technological innovations. This session provided valuable insights into the rapidly evolving field of artificial intelligence, inspiring the participants to think about future possibilities in science and technology.

The ICP is designed to foster cultural integration and peer support through mentoring, global leadership development, and cross-cultural interaction. The visit to CUHK(SZ) exemplified these goals, leaving participants with lasting memories and a renewed sense of connection across campuses.
