On 28 March, 2025, CUHK welcomed colleagues from CUHK(SZ) for a full-day mutual campus tour organized by the CUHK Campuses Collaboration Office (CCCO). This initiative aimed to strengthen the partnership between the two campuses and foster mutual understanding and potential future collaborations. The day began with welcome remarks by Professor Chan Wai-yee, Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Strategic Developments), who highlighted the long-standing ties between CUHK and CUHK(SZ), emphasizing the importance of staff exchanges in building trust, learning from each other, and enhancing joint development.

The itinerary included visits to the University Library, University History Gallery, United College, the Pavilion of Harmony, and the School of Hotel and Tourism Management. These locations offered our guests an immersive look into CUHK’s academic legacy, collegiate culture, and future-facing educational resources.A networking lunch at the Harmony restaurant of Lee Woo Sing College brought together staff from both campuses in a relaxed setting, promoting warm conversations, professional exchange, and new friendships.Feedback collected from participants showed high satisfaction and enthusiasm for future campus exchange initiatives.CCCO looks forward to continuing this meaningful exchange. In May, CUHK staff will visit CUHK(SZ), and in October, colleagues from CUHK(SZ) will return to CUHK for another visit. These ongoing interactions reflect our shared commitment to collaboration, mutual learning, and cross-campus unity.
