On 20 January, 2025, 14 students from the CUHK x CUHK(SZ) 2+2 Collaborative Double Major Programmes (CDMP) gathered to celebrate Chinese New Year.Organised by the CUHK Campuses Collaboration Office, the event provided a break from the students’ busy academic schedules. CUHK Campuses Collaboration Office Shenzhen also joined in the festivities, bringing delicious snacks for everyone to enjoy.Participants indulged in festive treats and drinks while engaging in traditional Chinese cultural activities such as writing New Year scrolls and crafting intricate paper cuttings.The gathering was filled with joy and laughter, offering students an opportunity to relax, connect, and immerse themselves in the Chinese New Year spirit. These creative activities not only fostered a deeper appreciation for Chinese culture but also strengthened the sense of community within the students.The event concluded with warm wishes for a prosperous and fulfilling Year of the Snake, leaving students energised and ready to take on the year ahead.
