The CUHK Careers Fair 2025, organised by the Career Planning and Development Centre of the Office of Student Affairs, was successfully held from 25 to 27 February, 2025. The event welcomed 38 CUHK(SZ) students to Hong Kong. Mark Koznarek, International Development Director of Shenzhen Finance Institute, CUHK(SZ) also attended the Fair. The collaboration highlighted the joint efforts of the two campuses in enhancing student exchange and broadening career pathways for students.

The three-day fair featured over 120 organizations of various industries, including local businesses, mainland partners, and international firms. It showcased organizations from diverse sectors such as major financial institutions, leading retail chains, prominent technology companies, and government representatives, allowing students to explore career opportunities. Thousands of CUHK student participants engaged in networking activities, gaining valuable insights into the job market.

A wide range of career services was provided at the fair to support students in their career exploration journeys. Beyond the invaluable networking opportunities at company booths, students were encouraged to leverage resources such as CV consultations, professional photo services, and an AI-powered CV booth. These tools aim to prepare students to navigate the challenges of the modern job market and maximise their prospects for future success.

Furthermore, CUHK students actively broadened their horizons by attending the Spring Careers Fair of Shenzhen Finance Institute, CUHK(SZ) in March. Facilitating cross-campus exchanges between CUHK and CUHK(SZ), the initiative exemplifies commitment to enhancing student employability and ensuring their career readiness for future challenges.
